The National Good To Go Initiative is a program designed to maximize the results of proper training in the fire service, and has been tested in fire departments from Seattle FD to Lyndhurst, Massachusetts. Here are some of the things that have been said by program participants after completing their Good To Go training:
"I decided to register for the Good To Go clinic after hearing from a friend how beneficial the training was. It helped me to kick start the fitness plan I had been putting off for so long with excuse after excuse. Registering for this program was exactly what I needed to get me back on track!"
- Dave, 40
"This clinic gave me the hands-on learning that I needed. It was easy to complete, and I felt accomplished afterwaward."
- Tyrone, 32
"There is nothing more important than being in shape to perform my job well, and this program helped to point me in the direction I need to be able to save lives. Safety is key, and having a physically fit body in my toolbelt is crucial so I can get myself, my peers, and those in trouble out alive. I can't believe I didn't do something like Good To Go sooner!"
- Ben, 35
